So, we all get caught up in weight loss, which is a perfectly awesome goal.
But in case you forgot, there are some fabulous reasons for strength training…that have nothing to do with the scale or weight loss.
Such as being stronger at your job:
Better bloodwork:
Doing something you couldn’t do before:
Staying healthy through a stressful year, or two. Or three:
Making everyday tasks easier:
Empowering our kids:
Prepares you for tough challenges:
You derive BIG pleasure from watching the numbers go UP:
You might need superhero powers one day:
Showing Parkinson’s disease who’s boss:
Because it makes you a badass (of course):

What are YOUR reasons?

It makes me feel stronger and healthier. It is a great way to manage stress and commit to well being. Nothing like setting a goal, beating it and continuing to discover the surprises one is capable of in this journey!
